Lynetta Clark,MS LPC

Learned her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Northeastern State University in 1988. She continued her education earning a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology in 1991.

Interest in grief counselling:

While attending school, Lynetta was employed as a vocalist for the funeral home industry & provided music for memorials & funeral services. It was during this time that Lynetta became interested in the bereavement process & focused her career on grief counseling.

Trained by authorities:

Lynetta has attended several training seminars developed & implemented by Alan Wofelt, widely known as an authority in grief and bereavement issues.

30 years developing programs:

In the last 30 years, Lynetta has created & developed her own bereavement programs for not-for-profit organizations & the funeral home industry & is considered to be a very accomplished grief counselor.

Continues education:

Lynetta continues her education by attending seminars with:

  1. Marc Charney

  2. Zarrow Mental Health Symposiums

  3. Yoga for Anxiety with Mary NurrieStearns.

Community leader:

She currently each semester teaches a class at Northeastern State University on dealing with grief and loss. She serves as a facilitator and leader of grief-related seminars & workshops throughout the community & speaks at churches, schools, mental health facilities, and other organizations regarding grief and loss issues.
